No. Every modern phone camera reads the tag and opens the contact page in the browser. Nothing to install on either side.

What does a scanner actually see?

A simple message page for your tag: preset messages plus a free-text box. Your name, phone number, email and address are never shown.

How do messages reach me?

Instantly by email, with optional SMS alerts. You reply straight from your inbox and the relay passes it on. Both sides stay anonymous.

Is there a battery or anything to maintain?
